Why it fits Kyojuro Rengoku
When the news of a person's death moves a creature that does not normally show feeling, the classical Chinese frame for that life is tokukō-bōjū. The reaction of the crow in the Mugen Train epilogue is the manga's way of stating the same evaluation.
