Encouragement directed at a junior whose future Rengoku will not live to see.

Why it fits Kyojuro Rengoku

A dying man telling a junior "no matter the road, you will become someone admirable" is zento-yōyō as unconditional gift. The phrase normally projects optimism about one's own future; Rengoku projects it onto another's, which is the higher form.
