Why it fits Kyojuro Rengoku
Tettō-tetsubi describes a consistency that survives any pressure, including the body's. Rengoku's last spoken paragraphs to the trio are pitched in the same register — duty, virtue, encouragement — as his first lines on the train. Nothing in him changes.
